Passionate about Excellence!
America’s schools have abandoned their commitment to educate young minds, particularly in the urban areas. SEE’s urban outreach programs are developed to meet the critical need for support and learning beyond the classroom. While their situations may seem hopeless, at-risk children need to have new role models who show them that alternatives exist. At SEE, we help students find their passion and their genius, and guide them to an education that leads to incredible and fulfilling lives.
What We Do
ADVANCED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
SEE PREP is designed to provide students with an opportunity to turn their dreams into realities. It is an eLearning module that can be done from anywhere. Every student deserves a chance at a great education, and we are committed to making that happen.
ADVOCATES AND PARTNERSHIPS
Mentorship programs, tutors, parenting coaches, classes, resources and advocates promoting family values and structure. By breaking generational cycles we change the trajectory of at-risk youth and inner-city families that inspire generations to succeed.
SUMMITS AND WORKSHOPS
A dynamic network of diverse leaders, innovators, and change agents come together to guide the mission of furthering educational excellence with informative panels discussions, critical thinking workshops, shared experiences and resources
MEET OUR FOUNDER
Kevin Jackson grew up in the urban jungle. His mother died before he turned 5 years old. At the time of her death, his father was in an inmate in San Quentin prison. He could have easily been another tragic story, either in prison or dead. But observant people saw things in him and committed to help. They provided opportunities that he embraced.
MEET OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
THE HILLSDALE PROJECT
Our team visited Hillsdale College and some of our team members actually sat in the chair where Frederick Douglass himself sat. What a thrill to learn about such an amazing institution. Hillsdale College symbolizes excellence.
So, when the college asked to participate in helping them find at-risk students for their scholarship programs, SEE stepped up.
